El 25 de noviembre es el día internacional de la eliminación de la violencia contra la mujer.
En el instituto Lope de Vega trabajamos a través de las tutorías en la
prevención de la violencia de género, este curso con 3º de ESO. La
educación de las chicas y chicos para diferenciar una relación sana de
una relación tóxica por machismo puede evitar relaciones muy dañinas
para las mujeres.
El alumnado del programa bilingüe de inglés de 3º de ESO leyó el siguiente texto:
¡Muchas gracias a todas las personas que participaron en este acto!
Dear students and teachers,
Today, as every 25th of each month, 3rd year Bilingual group
want to speak up for the last victims who unfortunately died the past months.
We want to honour these women. Violence
against them must stop. We must fight for a better world and we must raise our
voice against these terrible crimes.
"Nothing good ever comes out of violence ". "
We are all entitled to live free and equal".
" Violence against women is a human rights violation.
But it is not inevitable. We can put a stop to this".
"Always be a
first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody
else".
"Don't let anyone
tell you you're weak because you're a woman".
" I raise up my voice - so that those without a voice
can be heard. We cannot succeed when half of us are held back".
"Spread love
everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier".
"Better to be strong than pretty and useless"
"At any moment you have the power to
say : This is not how the story is going
to end"
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion
model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman.
That’s me.
Además, las chicas y chicos colocaron 3 lazos en la valla por las últimas 3 mujeres asesinadas. Todo el centro guardó 1 minuto de silencio. Y, para terminar, se pudo escuchar la canción elegida por el alumnado para esta ocasión: Girl on fire, de Alicia Keys.
